tricot machine
a warp knit machine consisting of horizontal rows of knitting elements, moving in concert, in configurable spacial degrees and relationships to one another, which form a fabric, one horizontal row at a time, with each machine crankshaft rotation. A tricot machine has a single horizontal row of needles, sinkers and closures, but has can have two or more guide bars.
